Durham, NC, May 17, 2014 --(PR.com
)-- CWNP, LLC (Certified Wireless Network Professional), the industry standard vendor-neutral wireless certification, has announced that it will host its inaugural Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) version 106 class on Monday, July 21 at its headquarters in Durham, N.C.
As the foundation level enterprise Wi-Fi certification for the CWNP program, CWNA certification helps professionals get started in their wireless careers by ensuring they have the skills to successfully survey, install and administer enterprise Wi-Fi networks. The newest edition of the CWNA certification (CWNA-106) officially launches on Tuesday, July 1, 2014. This version includes the new specifications listed in IEEE release 802.11ac.
This field has seen tremendous growth within the last decade, with the average salary for network administrators having increased significantly since 2005 and continuing to do so as the market and usage of wireless exponentially increases. The CWNA certification helps to ensure these professionals have the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the fast moving wireless industry.
The CWNA certification is also required to pursue all other certifications within the CWNP program, including the Certified Wireless Technology Specialist (CWSP), Certified Wireless Design Professional (CWDP) and Certified Wireless Network Expert (CWNE), one of the 10 most difficult designations to obtain in the IT industry.
Registration for the inaugural CWNA class will open on Sunday, June 1. To register, please visit http://cwnp.com/certifications/cwna.
“We are pleased and excited to announce the very first updated CWNA class,” said Brad Crump, president of CWNP. “This certification is critical to account for the growing demand in wireless as well as the growing presence of potential and current network administrators. We hope we can continue these courses to provide attendees with the skills necessary to take their careers to new levels and account for the ever-changing wireless market.”
