)-- Breakthrough Sushi will present Learn from the Master Sushi Making Class- Rolls, taking place at Newly Opened Miele Gallery’s Showroom Kitchen starting from Saturday June 14th from 12Noon, featuring Kaz Matsune, the owner and executive sushi chef of Breakthrough Sushi.
The monthly class will feature basic knife skills, cutting of ingredients and how to make sushi rice using some of brand new Miele appliances including steamer and induction stove top. Participants will learn how to make California Roll, Rainbow Roll and Hand Roll, followed by communal meal.
The 2.5 hour hands-on class is ideal for sushi enthusiasts, beginners and couples who want to learn the art of sushi making and enjoy the sushi they make during the class. The class features organic and sustainable ingredients such as locally caught fresh wild salmon.
As an added bonus, chef Matsune will demonstrate how to make miso soup using traditional “dashi” stock from bonito flakes and Kombu kelp.
