Sarasota, FL, June 09, 2014 --(PR.com
)-- Don Connelly and Rebecca Saggau, owners of Villa Selva on Siesta Key, together with the Manor of Taste International Team of Keller Williams, will be hosting an exclusive soirée on the evening of Saturday, 21 June to benefit the All Heart Fund.
The All Heart Fund supports the Good Work Foundation, a unique South African organization founded in 2003 that focuses on delivering digital-era literacy education and career-training to people living in rural, often neglected areas. The fund was established in memory of Sarasota resident, Leanna Knopik who passed away at the age of 16 from a heart ailment. Leanna was passionate about her travel experiences in Africa. So named for Leanna’s warm heart, the charity creates opportunities for students to travel to larger communities and cities for unique educational and leadership experiences and to connect with real-life businesses.
The safari-themed benefit will take place in the hosts’ own rainforest-inspired home, “Villa Selva”, among their extensive African art collection (JRDavid.com). Proceeds will be raised through silent auction and raffle of treasures such as African art procured by J. R. David, hand-crafted jewelry by Hespera (recently featured in People Magazine), and high value gift certificates and vouchers by some of our sponsors. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served, and guests will have the opportunity to receive a complimentary “Red Carpet”-style professional photograph.
Sponsors to date for this event include J. R. David, BMW and Lamborghini of Sarasota, Michaels on East, VanDyk Lending, Hespera Jewelry and Bright Sky Home Automation. For information on sponsorship or attendance at the event, contact Cindy Fluck at 941.228.9817 or Team@ManorOfTaste.com.
