McLean, VA, June 23, 2014 --(PR.com
)-- After a nearly four-year long bid process for the DHS EAGLE II contract vehicle, followed by a 100 day protest after initial award in the Fall of 2013, the dust has settled and the winners of the DHS EAGLE II Full and Open contract vehicle have been announced. All sixty-nine of them.
As one of the chosen sixty-nine, and to celebrate this momentous award occasion, SCI Consulting (SCI) President and CEO, Ms. Lynette Spano, has chosen to host an “invitation only” industry event for the winners as a way of congratulating our partner/competitors while establishing SCI’s commitment to DHS and this important IT contract vehicle.
“We were winners of the EAGLE I award as a small business, and relied on this vehicle as a critical success factor in going from a small company into the large business arena. DHS continues to be a highly valued customer and target for new business and we’re thrilled to be among the winners of this new contract,” says Ms. Spano. “I am very excited about being part of this nation’s task force to protect American lives as a service provider to the Department of Homeland Security. We are eager to be an active participant and proud member of the EAGLE II team of contractors.”
The event will be held at the McLean Hilton in Tysons Corner on Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 5pm to 8pm.
