)-- aVoV, a new contender in the digital streaming market place, officially launched their first model last Friday. The aVoV VIXO1 is a family friendly streaming entertainment system and features a wide range of popular entertainment apps including Crackle, Netflix, Hulu Plus and Angry Birds.
While there are currently a number of other digital media streaming platforms available to the public, the aVoV VIXO1 promises to provide users with a range of new options and features novel to this system alone. The system utilizes the brand new, developer friendly MickyHop technology as the platform’s backbone. The new technology allows aVoV developers to customer create a more diverse range of entertainment based applications for viewers to download. One of the main features of both MickyHop and the VIXO1 is the incorporation of cloud based streaming applications. This allows users to directly stream quality entertainment, such as the latest movies or cable TV shows directly to their television sets from user generated, cloud based apps.
The aVoV VIXO1 offers high definition streaming capabilities, and can connect to any television using HDMI.
The system also features the latest Wi-Fi standard capabilities, and utilizes the Android JellyBean 4.2.3 operating system. It also features two USB 2.0 ports for direct uploads, and 4GB NAND Flash internal storage.
The aVoV VIXO1 is currently only available online from avov.tv. The VIXO1 is set to hit retail stores by the beginning of July, 2014.
