Centurion Vision System Phaco Machine at Hazari Nursing Home

Aurangabad, India, July 03, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Ajit Hazari, medical director and chief consultant at Hazari Nursing Home, Aurangabad, Maharastra State, India, announced that the Centurion Vision System phaco machine was recently installed at Hazari Nursing Home in Aurangabad. He also informed that it is the first machine of its kind in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra. Marathwada has a population of about 26 million people.

Elaborating the features of the new machine, Dr Hazari said that the Centurion Machine marks the beginning of a new era in cataract surgery technology. With this machine, we are able to set an eye pressure during surgery of our choice. While the other standard high end machines usually use an eye pressure of about 60-80 mm of Hg, the Centurion is able to perform effortlessly at about a pressure range of 40-50 mm of Hg. Along with the pressure maintenance, the machine is equipped with very sensitive sensors which make sure that the surgery goes on smoothly.

This translates into a safer and much more comfortable surgical experience for the patient. Dr Hazari mentioned that patients can expect to be able to watch TV within a day, minor cooking, driving within a couple of days, office work within a week. All restrictions fall off within a week. All the surgeries are done under topical anesthesia which means thee is no patch on the eye after surgery and vision recovers within a few hours after surgery.
