Kickstarter Project Launched to Create a Music Video Addressing Gun Violence

New York, NY, July 16, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Blynde Mined Productions CEO, Peter Zudeck, has launched a Kickstarter fundraising campaign to create a music video that will address the December 2012 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School and Washington's failure to enact additional limitations on gun ownership. Blynde Mined Productions is the entertainment production company started in 2013 by Mr. Zudeck.

"This is an exciting next step for Blynde Mined Productions. We want to create entertainment that is fresh, exciting and socially relevant and this project is a perfect example of that mission. Almost three hundred people are shot by guns in the U.S. each day and almost fifty of them are children. Washington is mired in gridlock so this is a area where art and music can speak to powerful issue reminding people that the problem has not been addressed.

"I thought, as a musical artist, perhaps the most powerful contribution I could make would be to write a powerful song about the human toll of these gun related tragedies and put that song to an equally powerful video. I'm hoping a successful funding campaign and a widely distributed music video may help transform the issue into the conversation it should be - protecting our kids, our families and our neighbors from the epidemic of gun violence in this country."

Blynde Mined Productions fundraising campaign will run for 30 days, concluding at 10:00am EST on August 12, 2014. The project has a fundraising goal of $4,000 and any amount in excess of this amount will be used to increase the scope and quality of the project. The Kickstarter project campaign can be viewed at:
