The R1 Training Center is known as a Mecca for champion MMA fighters and decorated Martial Artists who gather from all over the globe to train with its staff and members. This Summer in the "City of Champions," Inglewood, CA, R1 will educate the next generation of Mixed Martial Artists beginning Monday, August 25 though Friday, August 29, 2014.
The R1 Teen MMA Camp will utilize the same training systems and techniques that have been tested and proven at the highest levels of competition by many of today's top professional MMA fighters. The R1 Gym, has developed champions in every major MMA organization with a few going on to become legends of the sport. MMA, the R1 way is designed to build Awareness, Confidence, Discipline, Focus & Respect while providing Teens with a positive outlet for intense physical training.
Perfect for high school athletes looking to develop a complete base in the Mixed Martial Arts, each day will bring 4 hours of instruction beginning at 10 am and ending with an open mat from 3pm on. The 2014 Summer Teen MMA Camp will be held inside the R1 MMA Training Center, on the same mats, ring and bags where the Pros train and where Summer MMA Camp teens will learn the fundamentals of Mixed Martial Arts training in a clean, safe, fun and fully supportive environment.
