Young & Emerging Artists Site Opens… Accepting Registrations

Art a Ray is offering to help young aspiring fine artists improve their skills and gain exposure by connecting them with professional artists and setting up stalls in London and online to exhibit and sell their work in the community.

London, United Kingdom, August 29, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Art a Ray, an exciting new online company, backed by the Princes Trust and described as an online platform dedicated to promoting handmade art in developing countries and among young artists between the ages 15-25, has been officially launched, opened, and currently accepting registration.

According to Creative Director Michael Jarrett, there are two main areas of the Art a Ray concept. Firstly, it promotes, develops and exposes aspiring fine artists.

"This 'promote-engage-encourage' phase," said Michael, “was developed to provide new and emerging artists to be trained and counseled by professional artists/teachers/mentors and given the exposure needed via traditional and online media to include social media, e-newsletters, and on-the-ground through exhibitions for artists to showcase and sell their work.”

“Secondly, we work to expose beautiful, unique handmade sculptures from developing countries supporting local communities and their craftsmen/women,” said Michael, who added that current sculptures were made of stone and wood. Ideal gifts for all occasions and great home décor.

Art a Ray, which targets a varied group of youthful art enthusiasts, age 35-49, ranging from home owners to art buyers, art investors to home decorators and gift buyers, according to Michael, is dedicated to providing a service that’s not only unique, authentic, and creative, but one that is affordable.

Art á Ray, which is inspired by the sun and the creativity it brings to life, bringing with it warmth and evoking emotion, as according to Michael, each of their artists represented a ray, collectively they make this dark world brighter.

“If you are a young artist between the ages 15-25, we have got lots going on here for you as it relates to the promotion, support and art and craft sales, artwork framing on sale, art mentoring services, advice from professional artists/mentors online tutorials, on the ground workshops, and participation in Art á Ray exhibitions,” noted Michael.

“We also have in store for you some exclusive opportunities where you’ll be able to access and exhibit in local galleries, and other awareness avenues. Competitions, prizes, client services (for customizable orders) You name it, and we have all,” added the Art a Ray spokesperson.

Currently, on a worldwide tour of exposing and bringing to young and emerging artists' exclusively unique handmade sculpture and craft in stone and wood our journey, beginning in Southern Africa, Art a Ray is on a quest to finding a little bit of everything from everywhere.

"This will make us your perfect, far sourced, local, one of a kind, exclusive handmade store, where you are assured that once you have it, you'll never get another one just like it," noted Michael.
