Green Alternative Systems Announces New Rebate Program for Industrial CNG Conversions

Green Alternative Systems has announced that there has been another rebate program recently announced for industrial CNG conversions.

Elkhart, IN, August 31, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Over the last few years more government programs have been initiated so businesses can have industrial CNG conversions at a reduced out-of-pocket cost to their company due to the environmental and safety benefits of industrial CNG conversions.

The latest rebate program is from Texas where The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) announced that drivers will now be able to get up to $2,500 in state incentives to help purchase alternative-fuel vehicles. The new program will provide up to $7.7 million in incentives to assist with absorbing the cost of leasing or buying vehicles powered by electricity, compressed natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas, also known as propane. The agency already has rebate programs in place to offset the cost of heavy- and medium- duty vehicles that are geared toward fleet applications. Interested parties should contact the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality for details.
