Altia Signs Cadlog as Distributor for Graphical User Interface Development Software in Italy and Spain

Cadlog to Provide Altia’s GUI Editor and Code Generation Software to Companies Developing Embedded Graphics

Colorado Springs, CO, September 04, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Altia Incorporated today announced the signing of Cadlog Srl as a distributor of the Altia GUI development tool kit for companies in Italy and Spain. With this new partnership, the Cadlog team can now deliver Altia's advanced user interface development capabilities to companies developing embedded graphics for their products.

Altia's user interface development tools are used by companies worldwide to develop colorful and custom user interfaces for their products. With Altia Design, the GUI editor and centerpiece of Altia's tool chain, users create custom graphics from scratch or use assets from tools like Adobe Photoshop to draw their GUIs, create animation, define behavior and optimize user experience. Once complete, Altia DeepScreen generates pure C source code for the Altia design model that can be deployed onto a variety of low- to high-powered processors from industry-leading silicon providers. Altia is used by companies worldwide to get user interfaces into production.

Cadlog Srl has years of experience providing enterprise software solutions for electronic design including embedded systems. The company is a proven solution partner for companies across a wide range of industries – spanning medical, industrial controls, vending, fitness, home appliance and automotive. Cadlog's customer companies are starting to develop state-of-the-art GUIs for their products. Now Cadlog will be able to deliver Altia's professional GUI solutions to their product development teams to help them build brand-defining embedded displays.

"Europe is the home to some of the best design in the world, particularly in Italy and Spain," states Mike Juran, Altia CEO. "That fact is becoming increasingly present in their product design – from automotive to home appliance. We’re seeing this innovation not just from global household names, but also from smaller companies and products. We're looking forward to partnering with Cadlog to deliver Altia's tools to GUI trailblazers across their region so that they can get the best embedded display into production."

"We are very excited for the opportunity to deliver the best toolset to develop market-winning GUIs to our customers," states Filippo d'Agata, Cadlog CEO. "We expect a tremendous impact in our market due to the need to differentiate and innovate the end user experience with an advanced Human-Machine interface. There is no limit to the number of applications and products where the Altia solution can play an important role. Cadlog is ready to support the designers to transform ideas into products: the automation of this process has an extraordinary potential."
