Viblast’s P2P Technology Solves Video Streaming’s Major Pains

Sofia, Bulgaria, September 13, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Online video delivery company Viblast is going to demo their unique peer-to-peer (P2P) network technology for live streaming at IBC2014. Optimizing video streaming through peer-to-peer is still nascent, and Viblast is leading the way with their one-of-a-kind solution that does not require viewers to install any plug-ins and works with Apple’s popular adaptive streaming video protocol, HLS.

At their presentation (Tuesday, noon, Hub Theater), they will tell the story of their innovative solution and discuss how it solves a number of the video industry’s key problems, such as the heterogeneous environment forcing broadcasters and OTT platforms to deal with multiple formats and a myriad of different platforms.

Another issue Viblast addresses is handling unexpected viewership peaks without overinvesting in infrastructure – in fact, Viblast leverages their users’ existing streaming infrastructure, allowing them to reach more clients with higher-quality video. This becomes possible thanks to cutting-edge technologies such as WebRTC and HTML5, allowing viewers to connect with each other securely (in-browser). An early adopter, Viblast won the Best Innovation award from WebRTC Global Summit, London 2014.

Viblast are going to demo the fast integration with their solution, its capabilities and limitations and the video analytics portal that comes with their solution. They can also be found for a chat at stand 14.G07.
