Two iUniverse Titles Win Top Prize in USA Book News Best Books 2007 Awards

New York, NY, November 21, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Two iUniverse titles were recently announced winners at the USA Book News Best Books 2007 Awards, while iUniverse titles also received finalist honors in 10 additional categories. The 7 Pitfalls of Single Parenting by Carolyn Ellis was the winning title Parenting/Family: Divorce category; and Kermit Lopez’ Cibolero walked away as the winning title in the Fiction & Literature: Western category.

The Best Books Awards was established by USABookNews.com, an online magazine and review Web site for mainstream and independent publishing houses. More than 500 winners and finalists were announced in over 140 categories ranging from print, audio books and courses, e-books and interactive CD-ROMs. Awards were presented for titles published in 2007 and late 2006.

The 7 Pitfalls of Single Parenting was also listed as a finalist in two additional categories: Parenting/Family: Reference and Health: Psychology/Mental Health. In regards to her award-winning title, Ellis is using the multiple honors in her efforts to reach her goal. “I want to get my message out to at least 1 million potential readers,” said Ellis.
