FC Sparta soccer being recognized internationally as they will travel from Charlotte, North Carolina to play in the Gothia Cup in Sweden.

Charlotte, NC, March 29, 2015 --(PR.com)-- It is with great excitement that FC Sparta announces that the FC Sparta U15 Gold team has been invited to the Gothia Cup in Gothenburg Sweden. “Our young men have worked very hard to earn this opportunity and we can’t be more proud of them,” said Bill Hollenback President of FC Sparta Charlotte. The Gothia Cup is the world’s largest international youth football tournament. Each year approximately 1600 teams from more than 80 nations take part in this tournament playing 4500 games on 110 fields. “I know our boys will be blown away during the opening ceremony as more than 80 nations; in Olympic fashion with their flags, parade in uniting together in the passion of the sport,” said Hollenback.

The teams and participants from around the world make the tournament unique. It’s a meeting place for the world’s youth with multiple cultures coming together with football as the common denominator. “It represents what FC Sparta Charlotte believes in, our mission is to make ‘the beautiful game’ available to all regardless of their ethnicity or socio-economic status,” said Michael Robinson founder of FC Sparta Charlotte.

FC Sparta is different than other soccer clubs in the Charlotte area as there are no annual fees associated with this organization. The only thing required is dedication and hard work. In describing the Sparta Family words like commitment, respect, character, pride, and passion come to mind.

Soccer programs are not inexpensive. For many of their kids it is an opportunity, otherwise not available for possible college and even professional aspirations. FC Sparta Charlotte is looking to explore strategic partnerships with local and national businesses, as well as individuals, as FC Sparta looks to expand throughout the Charlotte area. The sponsorship program will provide your business increased exposure around the Carolinas and around the globe as the team heads to the Gothia Cup in Sweden. That includes in-person and online marketing opportunities, but most of all you will be supporting the youth in our community.
