Hazmat Training Comes to Cary

Environmental Resource Center, the leading provider of environmental and safety training, presents RCRA, DOT, and HAZWOPER refresher training in Cary, North Carolina.

Cary, NC, September 10, 2015 --(PR.com)-- When workers handle hazardous waste and/or hazardous materials, training is not just a good idea, it’s the law. Individuals who are expected to stop, contain, and clean up releases of hazardous materials are required to have 8 hours of annual refresher training. According to the EPA, workers who handle hazardous waste must be trained annually, and the federal DOT requires that workers involved in the shipment of hazardous materials be trained at least every three years. Environmental Resource Center’s “DOT and RCRA Annual Update and Refresher” course is the perfect way for workers to get their mandatory annual hazardous waste training as well as their DOT 49 CFR recurrent training.

Environmental Resource Center, the leading provider of environmental and safety training, will present the training in Cary, NC, at its headquarters, 101 Center Pointe Drive, on September 29–30, 2015.

Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response 8-Hr. Refresher Course will be held on September 29, 2015.

DOT and RCRA Annual Update and Refresher will be taught on September 30, 2015.

Registration for the training is available by calling 800-537-2372 or at http://www.ercweb.com/classes.

Now in its 34th year, Environmental Resource Center trains not only thousands of industry personnel every year; but also trains personnel from most of the state and federal agencies that enforce the regulations.
