Work Has Begun for Hoar Construction on Luxury Residential Project in Dallas
Houston, TX, October 02, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Hoar Construction has begun work on the new two-tower Ascent apartment high-rises in Dallas’ Victory Park. The 302-unit apartment towers will be the first partnership for Hoar Construction and developer, Greystar Real Estate Partners, LLC.

The 23-story apartment towers will be just off the American Airlines Center plaza, the heart of the Victory entertainment district. The development will include several high-end amenities; a roof top deck and fitness center with views of Uptown, downtown and the Trinity River corridor. While the sixth floor will include an impressive pool that cantilevers over North Houston Street.

On a parcel of land just over an acre and proximity to the American Airlines Center, the Ascent’s tight urban site poses several challenges for construction. The small urban site means it is difficult to maneuver large machinery and allows limited construction material to be on site at any given time, but this is nothing new for Hoar. Hoar Construction is known for their ability to work on congested and challenging sites. In fact, several of their current projects fit this profile.

“We are up for the challenges and site complexities presented at Victory Park,” said Project Superintendent, Joe Pavicic of Hoar Construction. “A temporary alley and strict material delivery schedule are just a few measures we will take to minimally impact the high traffic surroundings.”

Anyone who has passed the site recently has seen that Hoar has been busy with site prep, demoing existing asphalt and fencing, installing walkway barricade and crane mobilization for pier drilling.

“We chose Hoar Construction as the General Contractor because we know they can provide the high level of planning and management needed to build this project. Their attention to detail in the preplanning phase has been exceptional,” said Laird Sparks, Greystar, Managing Director of Development.

The project was designed by Good Fulton & Farrell, Inc. of Dallas, Texas and is scheduled to be complete in June 2017.

Since the award of the Ascent at Victory Park, Hoar Construction and Greystar are in talks for another high rise project slated to begin late 2015 in Houston, Texas.
