Version 1.4 of tennisdata Released for Australian Open
Los Angeles, CA, January 19, 2016 --(PR.com)-- On January 16, tennisdata.net released version 1.4 for the iPhone, just in time for fans worldwide to get up-to-date statistics from the Australian Open and for Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer and all the players on the ATP tour. Mark Snyder, CEO of tennisdata.net, said: "We are very excited about version 1.4. A new, clean look to the app; in line with the new style Apple is promoting. In addition we've added a number of new features. The database was built out with over 150,000 ranking data points. Now users can see a player's current ranking, highest ranking ever, and when he broke into the Top 100 and Top 10. We also listened to users' requests and added a very interesting new query - the number of ranking points a player earned in the previous year's current week." The company has big plans for the rest of the year. Mark Snyder reports: "We hope to have multiple releases this spring. The ranking database opens up a lot of possibilities and we plan on aggressively expanding on the types of data the fans can access. And tiebreakers are crucial in match and we have new queries on the drawing board."

The tennisdata app is available in the App Store. There is a one time $0.99 charge.
