NSC Walford Receives Visit from Cyprus Dog Rehoming Charity

Oswestry, United Kingdom, February 26, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Animal Care students at North Shropshire College’s Walford Campus hosted Jodie’s Cyprus Dog Rehoming, a charity set up to raise awareness of the plight of Cyprus’ stray dogs. Jodie Lane set up the charity after her parents helped rescue dogs off the streets and paid to send them to the UK out of their own pocket, in 2013, Jodie set up the charity. Jodie now sends dozens of dogs to the UK, she visited the Walford Campus with a collection of dogs that had been rescued.

Level 2 Animal Care student, Jade Isherwood, commented "When Jodie’s Cyprus Dogs Rehoming came in I was amazed and also very moved, I hadn't a clue about any of the information they gave us and how serious an issue this is. Jodie and Claire were very passionate about what they are doing and are doing a great job. I am hoping to do voluntary work there in the near future."
