Fairwinds Marina Mechanics Awarded Elite Master Technician Certification
Annapolis, MD, February 26, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Fairwinds Marina Mechanics Charles “Chuck” Kamsch and Steve Young have achieved the marine industry’s highest level of certification, Certified Master Technician.
Fairwinds Marina has long been known as the region’s top outboard repair facility and repower center. Since the change in ownership in 2013, they have boasted a perfect 100% rating on Yamaha’s independent Customer Satisfaction Index.
Upon the completion of their most recent training, Chuck and Steve both successfully passed the rigorous test, verifying their expertise. Steve was awarded with the prestigious designation of ABYC Certified Master Technician, acknowledging his mastery of marine electrical systems, marine corrosion analysis, and marine systems installation & maintenance.
Chuck is now among the elite few who have achieved the advanced Yamaha Master Technician certification, the absolute highest level of training a Yamaha outboard technician can complete. Fairwinds Marina is proud to be home to the only two mechanics in Annapolis with this distinction. Richard “Richie” Mason, Fairwinds Marina’s other senior mechanic, had been the only Yamaha Master Technician in Annapolis until now.
