Littleton, CO, April 16, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Storion Energy today announced it is part of the largest-ever U.S. delegation to Hannover Messe, the world’s foremost trade fair for industrial technology, taking place April 25-29, in Hannover, Germany. For the first time in the Fair’s history, the United States will be the Partner Country, a status that provides the more than 390 businesses and organizations in the U.S. delegation an unprecedented opportunity to be prominently featured throughout the event. President Obama will also participate in this year’s event, themed "Integrated Industry-Discover Solutions."

Storion will exhibit in the Storage & Mobility Pavilion in Hall 27, Stand G50-26 at the show.

“The U.S. business community and the Department of Commerce have a clear message for the world: the United States is open for business. We will demonstrate and deliver on that message at the 2016 Hannover Messe,” said U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker. “We are proud to have some of America’s most innovative and forward-thinking companies joining the U.S. delegation at this year’s fair.”

Storion Energy delivers complete energy storage solutions to support the use of clean, renewable power. Storion’s redox flow battery combines multiple innovations to achieve the electrical energy storage performance and economy required for worldwide adoption for power grids, microgrids (rural electrification), and renewable energy power distribution.

“We are excited to be a part of the first-ever USA Partner Country presence at Hannover Messe and look forward to establishing contacts with potential customers, strategic partners, and collaborators,” said Storion Founder and CEO Mohan S. Misra.

Hannover Messe typically hosts more than 200,000 attendees from more than 70 countries, including global investors, buyers, distributors, resellers and government officials.

About Storion Energy
Storion Energy Inc. is the latest in a series of commercial spinoffs from technology innovator ITN Energy Systems, Inc. Storion’s technology grew out of a decade of fuel cell research that led to an ARPA-E funded redox flow battery development program that began in 2010. In 2015, Storion was formed to bring this advanced redox flow battery technology to the commercial marketplace. The company’s solutions optimize battery storage performance, providing low cost energy to suppliers and consumers; stabilizing inconsistent power from renewable sources; simultaneously managing peak load demand and frequency regulation; and enabling investors in renewables to achieve their ROI expectations.

Storion Energy, Inc. has a wholly owned subsidiary (Storion Energy, Germany) to market energy storage solutions in the European Union. In addition to the EU market, Storion is currently pursuing opportunities in the USA and in India.
