Wesley Chapel, FL, May 24, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Drone technology on display by over 600 firms at Xponential demonstrate how fast and far robotics efforts are changing the world.

The XPONENTIAL 2016 (AUVSI) show included over 600 firms representing commercial, academic and military organizations offering hardware, software, data gathering and ISR (intelligence, surveillance and recon) systems in the U.S. and worldwide.

In its role as a clearing house for teachers and students in the robotics world, The National Robotics Education Foundation (NREF) sent a team to record and disseminate some of the key products, tools, and services at the show.

Led by Tom Atwood, NREF Executive Director, the team has recorded more than 150 images of 100+ organizations exhibiting at the show. They are now available for viewing at no cost at the NREF website.

Atwood commented, "At Xponential, the AUVSI did an incredible job hosting the largest gathering of land, sea, air and space robotics organizations and products ever assembled."

Added Atwood, "These are the companies in which our students who pursue STEM disciplines will find enriching careers. The technological future represented by Xponential underscores the importance of STEM studies for our students, commercial sector and nation."

The images were collected by Atwood and fellow NREF reporter David Brion.

The National Robotics Education Foundation is a non-profit serving communities preparing students for careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). The NREF is an informational clearinghouse that identifies the most accessible and affordable curricula, products, and learning resources.
