Mims Distributing Company Joins Leinenkugel’s Canoes for a Cause Event June 18
North Carolina Beer and Wine Distributor Partners with Craft Beer Brewer, Wake Soil and Water Conservation District and The River Guardian Foundation to Clean Up Lake Johnson.
Raleigh, NC, June 10, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Mims Distributing Company, a leading North Carolina wholesale beverage distributor, is once again partnering with Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company for the fourth annual Canoes for a Cause campaign on Saturday, June 18 from 9 a.m. to noon at Lake Johnson in Wake County. This year Leinenkugel’s and Mims Distributing have partnered with the Wake Soil and Water Conservation District and The River Guardian Foundation to host the volunteer litter cleanup event.
The Canoes for a Cause campaign exemplifies Leinenkugel’s passion for water quality. With water being the main ingredient in beer, Leinenkugel’s relies on local water sources for production efforts. Previously, Canoes for a Cause events have been held in Chicago, Denver, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Madison, Wisconsin and Cleveland. Mims Distributing’s support of the event is part of the company’s commitment to clean, contaminate-free waterways and dedication to preserving North Carolina’s natural resources.
