Atlanta Company Wins Global Startup Award and Funding

Atlanta Tech Village based startup, Trust Stamp received a Gold Award together with over $110,000 of funding and other benefits from the Publicis Group at Viva Technology in Paris.

Atlanta, GA, July 05, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Trust Stamp, an Atlanta Technology Village based FinTech startup received the prestigious Gold Award in the Publicis90 ceremony at the Viva Technology conference in Paris France, having been chosen through a multi-stage, 6-month process from over 3,500 applicant companies (and 320 finalists) from 141 countries.

The award brought with it 100,000 Euros (over US $110,000) of cash funding from the Publicis Group, to be matched by Publicis’ partners, together with a year-long program of support by Publicis and its partners in the fields of digital media, marketing and communications.

Trust Stamp came out of stealth mode in May 2016 with news of backing by Atlanta based venture capitalist Frank J Hanna III of FSH Capital LLC as well as Second Century Ventures, the National Association of Realtors® venture capital fund.

So far in 2016, Trust Stamp has been chosen from over 150 companies in 30 countries to participate in the QC FinTech program in Charlotte, from over 100 companies to participate in the NAR REach® program and from similar numbers of applicants for the Venture Out FinTech program in New York City and Founder’s Space incubator in Silicon Valley. Trust Stamp is on a shortlist of 30 companies for the “Top-21 Blockchain Startups in the World” award.

Trust Stamp is a Global Entrepreneur Partner of IBM from whom it has received $120,000 of in-kind funding as well as a Microsoft supported Bizspark Plus startup.

Publicis90 is a global start-up initiative to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Publicis Group who selected 90 startups or projects in the digital field from around the world to mentor and fund. Publicis Groupe is one of the “big-4” global marketing and advertising agencies with annual revenues exceeding $10 Billion dollars. Viva Technology was attended by over 45,000 attendees and followed by over 41 million people via social media.
