Syeda Younus, MD has recently joined Lifescapes Counseling Associates, PLLC to provide additional, needed psychiatric treatment availability. Lifescapes now provides psychiatry appointments five days a week and two evenings a week at their new 3700 square foot facility near the entrance to the Villages of Apex.

Dr. Younus and Lifescapes’ existing Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Sara Hagen, will work together to provide compassionate, well-informed, and respectful medication management for most mental health issues. Dr. Younus sees adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, and treats anxiety disorders, ADHD, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, trauma, and personality disorders. Her style is warm, gentle, and non-intimidating. Dr. Younus is fluent in English, Hindi, and Urdu.

Dr. Younus is in-network with BCBS, Cigna, MedCost, Optum/United Healthcare, and Aetna, and Lifescapes files primary and secondary insurance claims for their patients.
