Wittenberg University Introduces New Master of Science in Analytics Degree Program

Wittenberg University Answers the Call for Analytics Professionals with a New Degree Offering.

Springfield, OH, November 15, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Wittenberg University is pleased to announce the introduction of its newest graduate degree offering, the Master of Science in Analytics. Geared toward busy adult learners, this 12-month program provides training that equips professionals to implement solutions to business problems based on real data and analytics.

Accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, the Analytics program is a flexible degree option that permits students to meet their current career and family obligations while pursuing the program, which uses a hybrid education model, combining three consecutive days per month on campus with regular online coursework. The program also includes a year-long project in which each student tackles a significant problem that is both relevant and of great personal/professional interest. Through this approach, the program prepares students not only for significant data analysis work but builds the skills and perspective needed to lead teams, make better decisions and better understand our biggest problems.

Gene Pierce, Chair of the program’s advisory board and instructor for the capstone series, says of the Analytics program, “Critical thought and the ability to sort through complex data are becoming more and more important in all types of organizations. Wittenberg’s Master of Science in Analytics program prepares students to employ data to drive change and maximize decision-making efficiency in the companies they serve, which in turn makes them invaluable to employers.”
