Co-Authors Margaret McNellis and Ann Winters Announce New Sci-Fi Short Fiction Series

Hybrid: Part One by Margaret McNellis and Ann Winters starts the story that explores freedom, rebellion, and the junction between science and ethics.

New Haven, CT, February 01, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Co-authors Margaret McNellis and Ann Winters published the first of a science fiction series recently. At just over 8,800 words, this first part of the series is available on Amazon.com for $0.99.

Charity Greene makes an unexpected discovery, which prompts her investigation into secret files maintained by a genetics company that contracts with the government. Her curiosity has its consequences, especially after a high-ranking officer--her father--cautions her against her explorations--but she doesn’t heed his advice.

Margaret McNellis holds a master’s in English and Creative Writing. Her short fiction has been published in Fictitious Magazine, See Spot Run, The Penman Review, The Copperfield Review, and Dual Coast Magazine. She also received honorable mention in the 2015 WOW--Women on Writing Winter Flash Fiction contest. Ann Winters and McNellis have been writing partners since 2010, though this is their first published, co-authored work. Winters has been creating stories since childhood.

McNellis and Winters plan to release subsequent parts of the Hybrid story every two weeks until the story’s completion. During release, the story will be available in ebook format; however, McNellis and Winters plan to release a hardcopy version of all the parts combined into one published volume once the short story installments are available.
