Get Ready to Binge New Portland Web Series "Adventures in #Adulting"

With “Portlandia” filming its final season, a new Portland-based web series is ready to take over.

Portland, OR, March 23, 2017 --(PR.com)-- There is heavy buzz circulating for the new comedy web series Adventures in #Adulting to premiere on YouTube.

The series focuses on Corey Caruso, a charming, yet unmotivated 30-something living in Portland, OR who is unwittingly stuck the past – the 90s to be exact. He is accompanied by Claire, Josh, Paul, Annie and Gina – each battling their own adulting mishaps and hilarious encounters – at times with eccentric characters. The mutual quest is that of love, adventure and true happiness – but at what cost?

Tristan David Luciotti, Vision8Studio founder, plays the lead “Corey Caruso” and is also the show’s writer and director. Luciotti has dazzled audiences in an array of feature films and shorts, including: In the Dark of Night, The Fear of the Bottom, Runaway Highway, Slapped! The Movie and SHOJOE. He also has appeared in several commercials and featured in a few TV shows.

Tristan David Luciotti is definitely someone to keep on your radar as he is making quite a name for himself as a rising star in the film and television industry.

In 2016, Luciotti joined forces with Crooked Brow Productions front man, Kyle Martin, who became the co-director and director of photography of Adventures in #Adulting. Funding was needed to bring the project to life and chief executive producer, Randy Kovach, made it possible. Kovach is also the chief executive producer of Luciotti's documentary feature film, All Around Us, which is currently in post-production.

With Luciotti, Martin and Kovach sharing the same vision, casting began and the web series has a total cast of approximately 100 people including background actors, which stands out for a low-budget, non-union project.

Adventures in #Adulting’s lead cast also includes: Leslie Inmon as “Claire Manning,” Matt Lowe (from MTV’s Catfish) as “Josh Bennett,” Bryan Maurice as “Paul Hammond,” Melanie Meijer as “Annie Lane Boggs” and local comic Amanda Martin-Tully as “Gina Chapman.”

Luciotti says that, “most of the lead cast I had either previously directed or acted with in another production. They are all extremely talented artists. I have a feeling once they get further visibility from this series, the sky is the limit for each and every one of them. The project also has a crew that is a dream team. I could not be more impressed or thankful for everyone involved.”

Filming began in February 2017 and will continue through the end of April. The show’s anticipated premiere is set for mid to late May 2017.

Though the series is set in present-day, there are many 90’s references to pop culture from films to TV shows to music. If you’re between the ages of 30 - 40, or just love the 1990's, this show will highly appeal to you and it needs to be added to your watch list.
