WISE Adult Day Services Program Open House and Senior Prom
The Gateway Family YMCA – WISE Center YMCA Branch Provides Open House in Union.
Union, NJ, June 19, 2017 --(PR.com)-- The Gateway Family YMCA - WISE Center YMCA Branch is hosting an open house for their Adult Day Services Program on Friday, June 23rd 1:30pm-2:30pm, located at 2095B Berwyn Street, Union, NJ. The WISE Adult Day Services program will be celebrating their 17th annual “Senior Prom” and open house at this time. Interested community participants are invited to wear their finest and join the fun.
The W.I.S.E. (Wellness, Independence and Socialization for our Elders) Adult Day Services Program is a social day program designed to help adults maintain their independence and improve their quality of life through activities designed to meet their special needs. Loved ones are cared for in a caring, safe and supportive environment, while caregivers are provided a necessary respite.
“For over 30 years, the WISE Adult Day Services program has served our community,” stated Krystal R. Canady, CEO, The Gateway Family YMCA. “Our dedicated staff team understands the daily stress of being a cergiver and feels that assisting the caregiver is just as important as assisting their loved one.”
The WISE Center YMCA is the fifth branch in The Gateway Family YMCA association, serving the community in Eastern Union County and Northern Middlesex County, NJ. “At the WISE Center YMCA Branch, we provide the WISE Adult Day Services program as well as Connections, Persys and community support groups. This is a unique YMCA branch providing services to meet the needs of our local community,” stated Melynda A. Mileski, EVP/COO, The Gateway Family YMCA.
