Playa Vista Film Festival Announces Summer Series and Networking Events

Playa Vista, CA, June 28, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Local film festival director, Jon Gursha is pleased to announce the debut of the Playa Vista Film Festival Networking Event, a monthly film festival event featuring film screenings and a Summer Series Kick-off party for the Playa Vista Film Festival Summer Series “The Playa Vista Film Festival creates a great opportunity for networking events for independent filmmakers and an amazing venue for screenings,” says Gursha.

The Playa Vista Film Festival Summer Series will debut this August, and will be hosted every month thru October. According to Gursha, “At this exclusive event for filmmakers, and film-goers interested in quality independent films, we will be screening a limited number of films with a limited number of tickets available.” Tickets must be purchased in advance, and no tickets will be sold at the door. Cost per ticket is $10.00 and will be available on EventBrite.com. Film submissions are $25.00 per film, and need to be submitted through FilmFreeway.com which can be accessed through the Playa Vista Film Festival Website: playavistafilmfestival.com.

The Playa Vista Film Festival Networking Mixer is to kick off July 14, 2017 at The Work Bar located at 4576 S Centinela Ave Los Angeles, CA 90066. Doors open at 7PM and will be serving light refreshments and hors-d'oeuvre. The Networking Mixer is a free event and is first come first serve with limited space and capacity.

Light refreshments will be served, and all patrons must be 21 and over. Local venues, to be announced for film screenings starting in August.
