Springfield, MA, October 02, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Entrepreneurship Education Pioneer & Leader in Creative Pathways Partner to Support Community College Transfer.

The National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE), the nation’s leading organization focused on promoting entrepreneurship through community colleges, and Bellevue University, in Bellevue, Nebraska, one of the nation’s leaders in preparing students for lifelong career success with career-relevant knowledge and skills, have announced a partnership that supports Bellevue University as a Premier Transfer Partner Institution for NACCE’s 300-plus member community colleges.

“Bellevue University is one of the top four-year universities for creating dynamic pathways to support community college transfer,” said NACCE President & CEO Rebecca Corbin. Ed.D. “We are pleased to partner with the university on this vital program, which reflects the growing importance of such transfers in helping the country achieves its college completion goals and in closing the skills gap that exists in our economy through entrepreneurship and innovation.”

For the second year in a row, Bellevue University was named to Phi Theta Kappa’s “Excellence in Community College Transfer Honor Roll,” which recognizes the top four-year colleges for creating pathways to support community college transfer. The university has helped more than 20,000 college transfer students earn bachelor’s degrees.

“Through our Premier Partner Network we’ve been able to invest in one-on-one relationships at the local level,” said Jim Grotrian, vice president of Strategic Partnerships for Bellevue University. “By joining forces with NACCE, we can take this to the next level and further support entrepreneurial efforts happening in our rapidly growing network of community colleges.”

To introduce the partnership to entrepreneurial community college leaders in the NACCE network, Bellevue University will co-present the Premier Transfer Partner Institution programs at NACCE member webinars, regional summits and annual conferences. It will also co-sponsor the “President’s & Chancellor’s Celebration of Entrepreneurship Dinner” at NACCE’s annual conference in Tampa October 8-11, 2017, and at NACCE 2018 in Forth Worth, Texas.

Bellevue University has more than 150 articulation agreements with community colleges and select institutions abroad. These agreements document a pathway that allows all graduating students with transfer courses or degrees in technical, career, or liberal arts fields to smoothly transfer into one of Bellevue University’s bachelor degree programs. NACCE has more than 300 community college members plus entrepreneurship centers and other entrepreneurial-focused organizations throughout the U.S and worldwide.
