Female Owned and Operated Start-Up, LIVEKINDLY, Trailblazing a Vegan Revolution

Vancouver, Canada, November 28, 2017 --(PR.com)-- In just six months, LIVEKINDLY has garnered an international audience, reaching more than six million people per week on Facebook, the world’s premier social platform. The site reached a milestone 250,000 followers on Facebook this month.

With a focus on news, videos, opinions, recipes and all things vegan, LIVEKINDLY is quickly becoming the go-to site for ethical, environmental, and health conscious individuals.

Seeing a gap in the market, founder Jodi Monelle wanted to create an inclusive community where meat eaters, flexitarians, vegetarians, pescetarians, and vegans could come together.

Adopting a holistic approach to living kindly, the female-run business is set to become the biggest name in all things plant based, and it couldn’t be more timely. A recent Mintel report revealed that in Britain alone 28% of its residents have cut back their meat consumption in the last six months, with 20% of 16-24 year olds following a vegan or vegetarian diet.

Monelle, 27, along with co-founder Katie Pevreall, 23, are making huge strides in digital publishing as other media outlets struggle to stay afloat. Celebrating their sixth month on Facebook LIVEKINDLY cemented its status as the future of digital publishing as it secured its 250,000th follower and expanded its reach to nearly 7 million.

‘We want to create a community for everyone, we are not trying to be vegan for vegans,” Monelle said. “We want to create engaging, interesting content around topics such as health and wellbeing, ethical fashion, the latest vegan celebrities, delicious vegan recipes, guides and information for people who want to try a more plant based lifestyle. Our goal is to make a difference and we hope to give people the support and kindness to make changes in their lives where they want to.”

LIVEKINDLY is supported by an international team of writers, strategists, and web developer, Luke Newland. The team recently brought on veteran vegan reporter and editor Jill Ettinger, who’s run the editorial content for sister sites Organic Authority and EcoSalon since 2010.

“It’s an exciting time to be both vegan and in the digital publishing space,” said Ettinger. “And there’s so much still yet to be done. LIKVEKINDLY has its sights set firmly on the (vegan) future.”

LIVEKINDLY is building a global network, with audiences in the U.S, U.K, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.
