The first showcasing 13-original abstract paintings created by Elisa A Maggio’s open hands; and the second, a collection of digitally photographed images from the 13-original abstract paintings that appear to be holographic in nature.

About the Author
Elisa A Maggio, Soul ARTist and Author, at an early age became a world traveler, exploring ancient and indigenous cultures, like Stonehenge, the Acropolis, the Roman Coliseum, and Mesa Verde. Influenced by the storytellers of long ago, Elisa learned to express herself through poetry of the natural world, collage art, as an educator of young children with unique learning styles and currently as a natural healer and bodyworker for families and their pets. In 2015, Elisa published her first book - :: Sacred Heart :: Soul ART :: . The intention of the book was to share her passion for color, balance, and personal development.

About the New Apple Book Awards
The Annual New Apple Book Awards for Excellence in Independent Publishing was established to honor the creative achievements of the unsung self-published books fighting for their place among the more than one million books released annually. Any English language book published within the last three years, currently available for sale by an independent author or small press that met the Awards' guidelines was eligible for entry.
