Symphonic Signs Distribution and Marketing Agreement with Rat City

Deal includes 3 singles including Kind of Love and Naked with My Headphones On.

New York, NY, December 13, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Symphonic Distribution, the global music/video distributor and marketing services company, today announces it has signed a distribution and marketing agreement with Kent & Cato Sunberg, professionally known as Rat City, for 3 singles including tracks Kind of Love, Naked with My Headphones on, and a track not yet titled. The video for Kind of Love is being directed by Micah Chambers-Goldberg and will be released simultaneously with the track early in 2019. Symphonic will release the tracks throughout the world with the exception of Europe, where Rat City have signed to Sony.

The brothers Sunberg hail from Drammen, Norway, and are also part of the synthpop group Donkeyboy. They are managed by veteran electronic music manager Richard Bishop, who has also represented stalwart artists The Crystal Method, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, and Borgore.

“Kent and Cato Sunberg, regardless of what moniker they record under, are some of the most accomplished pop songwriters and producers of their generation,” said Nick Gordon, Chief Client Officer of Symphonic Distribution. “We’re eccastic to work with Richard Bishop and his team at Three Am to bring these new songs to market.”

Says Bishop, “We have been developing the Rat City project for the last couple of years and the opportunity of working with Sony in Europe, and Symphonic for the rest of the world gives us two great partners both of whom are genuinely excited to be on board.

“Symphonic is a new breed of company that brings the marketing heft of a label with the reach of a global distributor. We will all be working closely together with the hope of achieving optimal results.”
