West Chester University Holds Its First Off-Campus Housing Fair

West Chester, PA, October 06, 2018 --(PR.com)-- West Chester University is hosting an Off-Campus Housing Fair on Monday, October 8th from 10am – 1pm in the Sykes Student Union ballrooms, 110 Rosedale Avenue.

Stakeholders from the university and Borough have been invited to be a part of educating West Chester’s students about leasing off-campus, living in the off-campus neighborhoods, understanding the Borough codes, and adulting (i.e., how to write a check, how to recycle, how to be a good neighbor).

The fair is an opportunity for students to walk around and meet with property managers and learn about the various issues or concerns that may arise when living off-campus. There is no cost for the property owners or students to participate.

West Chester University is partnered with Places4Students.com, the company specializing in providing academic institutions with off-campus housing solutions. Students will be able to search for housing accommodations posted on their website during the event and after, as well as ask off-campus housing questions.
