Designed by JDavis, Carlton Place will be honored on Tuesday, April 1 at the Board of Directors’ Annual Meeting held at the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel, located at 421 South Salisbury St.
Carlton Place will be honored as a new construction project completed in 2007 that significantly contributed to the identity of downtown Raleigh. The development includes approximately 4,500 square feet of retail and office space and 80 rental apartments – 64 of which are reserved for limited-income families. Carlton Place is within easy access to downtown Raleigh attractions and features Green design elements, making the development an environmentally-friendly and cost effective housing option. JDavis Architects was awarded the project by the Raleigh Community Development Department through an invited competition.
