Delinquent Cinema Announces They Are in Pre-Production on the Film "Blessing"

Hollywood, CA, August 06, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Delinquent Cinema and RFA Productions are in pre-production on the action-packed short festival film "Blessing."

The story is set in a locally owned boxing gym. Gift, a street artist, and his pregnant wife Olivia, who owns the local boxing gym, fight to survive a late night intrusion that threatens both their family and their business.

Shot in collaboration with locally owned small businesses in the Los Angeles area, this film touches on themes of community, vulnerability, and the struggle and blessing of being alive.

Produced and Directed by Jenifer Yeuroukis, known for directing "Woman" starring Danny Trejo ("Machete"), "Now What" starring Tim Lounibos ("Bosch"), "Open Wider," and "There Is No Place That Does Not See You."

Ms. Yeuroukis also penned the script and has a Directing Award of Merit for "Woman" at the 2018 Best Shorts Competition.

The film is Co-Produced by award winning veteran Producer/Actor Robert Amico whose producing credits include: "Dark Desire," "Broken Spirits," Chinaman's Chance," "Window Of Opportunity," "Proving Ground," "S2K," "Daddy Donor," "Frogtown," "Boiler Maker," and dozens more.

Shooting the film is veteran cinematographer David Mahlman who has already shot two films for Mr. Amico, "Attraction" and "Silent Struggle."

The film will shoot in mid-September in the Los Angeles area and out to the film festival circuit.
