Bay Atlantic University Announces Accreditation from the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE)
Bay Atlantic University becomes the first university in the DC area to be accredited by NECHE.

BAU is the first university in the capital region to receive the honor. NECHE is one of the premier accreditors in higher education. Accreditation of an institution of higher education by the Commission indicates that it meets or exceeds criteria for the assessment of institutional quality periodically applied through a peer review process.
