North Carolina Theatre Releases Peter Pan Podcast

Raleigh, NC, June 18, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Kristin Buie, communications manager of the North Carolina Theatre (www.nctheatre.com), has announced the release of a podcast that presents information about Peter Pan, a musical production starring Ira David Wood III running Saturday, July 12 – Sunday, July 20 at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium located at 1 E. South St. Peter Pan tells the story of a mischievous boy who refuses to grow up by spending his childhood adventuring on the small island of Neverland as leader of his gang, the Lost Boys. The show's adventures begin when Peter teaches Wendy and her brothers how to fly and invites them to come with him to Never-Never-Land. In the podcast, Buie provides background information about the musical, information about the cast, when the show is running and ticket information.

Ira David Wood III, founder and executive director of Raleigh's Theatre in the Park, has performed in such musicals as Oliver, La Cage Aux Folles, Grease, Funny Girl, The Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz and Man of La Mancha.
