Litchfield Jazz Fest Partners with Lime Rock and Bellamy-Ferriday House

Litchfield Performing Arts, an award winning Connecticut non-profit, will partner withLime Rock Park in Lakeville and Bellamy-Ferriday House & Garden in Bethlehem. On July 12th vocalist Nicole Zuraitis, will appear at Lime Rock Park to sing the National Anthem to kick off the The American Le Mans Series. Litchfield, CT, July 05, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Partnering with other community organizations has always been important to Litchfield Performing Arts, the 27-year-old nonprofit that runs the Litchfield Jazz Festival and Litchfield Jazz Camp. This July LPA will partner with two very different area organizations – Lime Rock Park in Lakeville and Bellamy-Ferriday House & Garden, a Connecticut Landmarks property in Bethlehem.

On Saturday, July 12th Litchfield native, 23-year-old vocalist Nicole Zuraitis, will appear at Lime Rock Park to sing the National Anthem to kick off the The American Le Mans Series. The American Le Mans Series boasts the best drivers piloting the meanest, greenest race cars in the world. Cars to watch include Porsche, Ferraris, Corvettes and more. Nicole Zuraitis has been a part of the LPA “family” since she was 12 and attended the first Litchfield Jazz Camp. She is now the vocal teaching assistant at Litchfield Jazz Camp and will have her jazz festival debut and record release on Saturday, August 2nd. On Saturday, July 19th from 4-6 pm, Bellamy-Ferriday House & Garden will partner with Litchfield Jazz Fest to present a preview performance by Nicole Zuraitis and her quartet. Opening for Nicole, will be talented students from Litchfield Jazz Camp. Bring lawn chairs and a blanket and enjoy. This event is free to the public but reservations are suggested for attendance and for catered picnics if you wish. This is a rain or shine event.
