Ilona Hegedûs is a young Hungarian writer and literary translator, who lives and works in Budapest. She is a graduate with English and Librarian majors and she also completed a master's program in European Studies and Global Affairs.
She writes poems and short stories in English and in Hungarian. Many of her poems have appeared in English. (Actually, none of them are translations, she wrote them in English.)
She is also a book reviewer (for Novelspot and Scribe and Quill).
In a bit more than a year, fourteen of her poems got published in English and there are many more waiting for publication.
