Zaki Ghavitian, Vision Montreal mayoral candidate in Ahunstic-Cartiersville, has endorsed a major element of Giovanna Giancaspro’s platform in his campaign pamphlet. For years, Ms Giancaspro has been fighting to rid Montreal of excessive parking meters rates. Now one of Vision’s highest profile candidates has included a promise to shut down meters on Sundays and in the evening during the week in his campaign materials. - October 16, 2009
