Today, the Y begins a new chapter in its history with the opening of the new Aquatics Center and Speed Soccer Complex in Santa Ana, Ca. Swim & Sports programs begin November 1st; a Registration Day will be held Saturday, October 30th at the new Y. Y Programs provide new experiences and growth opportunities for all ages and celebrate common values of respect, responsibility, and caring. A Grand Opening Celebration Event will be held on November 20th at 10am, this is a free community event. - October 30, 2010

AT&T Awards YMCA of Orange County $5,000 Grant to Purchase New Computers for Afterschool Care Program
AT&T has awarded the YMCA of Orange County a $5,000 grant to purchase new computers for the Benson YMCA Afterschool Program. This grant will support the development of a technology center and will extend learning and enrichment opportunities for children participating in the program. Computers will be used to support student's academic needs and enhance Afterschool Curricula to include relevant and self-directed learning opportunities as well as computer clubs and other enrichment activities. - October 23, 2010
