Robert Gaudreau, Emerging Painter to Exhibit "Something About Books" Paintings in NYC
An abstraction in education... and a progression into the learning. Emerging painter Robert Gaudreau has completed an important conceputal series of 33 oil paintings inspired by and dedicated to the importance of education. Andy Warhol painted the 30 soup cans. Mr. Gaudreau attempts an inspirational approach to paint the 33 Books. Through an abstraction coming together with coloration of impasto textures, Gaudreau accomplishes the identity of the work, leaving the imagination for the viewer. - March 28, 2007
