Daughter/Mother Duo Drive to End Bullying & Child Obesity
Jordynn Lurie, a high school senior, started 501(c)(3) Dance for the Heart and has planned a drive from NY to S. Florida to bring dance and discussion to organizations such as Boys & Girls clubs. The program is to get children moving and dancing who might not have access to dance otherwise and bring awareness to childhood obesity and bullying. She'll travel with her mother, author of the Tomgirlz chapter book series which focuses children on what bullying is NOT. - July 21, 2015
