JFS Receives $2.3M Bequest from the Estate of Bernard Sherman, the Single Largest One Time Gift in Agency History
Gift to be placed in an endowment which will provide vital support for the many programs and services of the agency which serve people of all ages and beliefs. A portion of these funds will be used to establish the “Bernard Sherman Program to Enhance Jewish Identity” which will enable children with the assistance needed to participate in Jewish lifecycle events. - May 18, 2017
