Human trafficking is a global epidemic, which needs more awareness worldwide. According to the International Labor Organization, estimates suggest that there are between 20 million to 40 million victims of human trafficking. Women and girls account for approximately 71 percent of trafficked people, while men and boys account for 29 percent.
