Canadian Association of Telecom Dealers Comes Together

Telecom Dealers in Canada band together to form the Canadian Association of Telecom Dealers, CATD.

Toronto, Canada, August 17, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Canadian Association of Telecom Dealers has officially formed. The focus of the CATD is to bring together the Canadian collection of telecommunication related businesses.

Founder, Mike Dancy, states “Canada is a large country with a wide assembly of independent telecom agents. They range from providers such as Bell, Rogers and Telus to single installers and everyone in between. It would be nice to bring the collection of related businesses together and work in collaboration. Canada is a leader in World communication, we have Nortel, Blackberry and a dozen others. It’s time that we put our heads together and really organized this business.”

The goal of the CATD is to offer greater purchasing power to smaller telecom installation businesses while offering a pool of talent to larger companies for remote installations. With a broad member base, CATD will be able to offer benefits that would otherwise be unattainable by independent operators.
