Aquatic Habitats Announces New Logo to Mark Recent Acquisition

Apopka, FL, August 20, 2008 --( Aquatic Habitats (AHAB), a world leader in aquatic housing solutions for the biomedical research community, announced today the launch of their new logo and tagline. These updates symbolize a new era for the company after the integration of Marine Biotech, Inc. AHAB's parent company, Aquatic Eco-Systems, Inc., announced the acquisition of Marine Biotech on February 11, 2008.

The new AHAB logo is a streamlined, dynamic take on the company's previous emblem. To convey AHAB's core philosophy of providing aquatic housing solutions, the new logo combines different shades of blue—representing water—with recirculation arrows around the word "Habitats."

Aquatic Habitats' new tagline, "Your research fuels our innovation," emphasizes the company's philosophy of customer focus. AHAB was founded in 1997 to meet the specialized needs of the biomedical research community, and continues to set the standard in aquatic housing by incorporating customer feedback into system design. As the only company in the industry that specializes in aquatic species, AHAB is dedicated to remaining a cutting-edge leader of aquatic housing solutions.

Though the logo and tagline have changed, AHAB's goal remains the same: To deliver excellent customer service and turnkey solutions that are secure, efficient, ergonomic, robust and as fail-safe as possible through continuous improvement.

"Aquatic Habitats is a dynamically growing company, with an emphasis on customer service," said Aquatic Eco-Systems President Todd Childress. "We felt a new logo would capture some of the energy and innovation surrounding Aquatic Habitats' expansion and the anticipated launch of new products and services."
