Washington, DC, August 21, 2008 --(PR.com
)-- TV One is not only covering the historic DNC Convention, its making some history of its own. After veteran journalists Joe Madison and Arthur Fennell co-anchor the hard news coverage from 8pm to 11pm, Dr. Eric Dyson and his wife, Reverend Marcia Dyson, will co-host a provocative new show, TV One Live: DNC After Party beginning at 11pm all four nights.
Touted by TV One as a smart, irreverent and topical show that will be witty and entertaining, the eclectic cast is a veritable Who's Who of celebrities including: chief political analyst Roland Martin, civil rights activist Reverend Al Sharpton, celebrity chef G. Garvin, actor Hill Harper, comedienne Sheryl Underwood, publisher Jamie Foster Brown, the celebrity snitch Huggy Lowdown, and fashion and lifestyle expert Paul Wharton.
No stranger to television, the dynamic Paul Wharton starred in the popular MTV series Made, hosted lifestyle and fashion segments on several networks, participated in a hot new model series on TV Land called, She's Got The Look, and, not coincidentally, is also cast as the style expert on TV One's own Makeover Manor.
The network will ask him to take that passion-for-fashion and mix it up live with convention coverage guests, pundits and journalists alike in TV One's ground-breaking production. In a format that focuses on the provocative, Paul Wharton will surely get tongues wagging with his opinions and insights on the style and fashion statements of the convention attendees. No one will be safe from the start, and since the segments will be aired live and unscripted, anything can happen.
Viewers can get an additional summary of the action in Wharton's blog on his new web site: www.evolutionlook.com which serves as an interactive portfolio web presence developed for models and prospective models to help increase their exposure and allow them to share in Paul's industry knowledge.
