New York, NY, September 04, 2008 --(PR.com)-- While the summer may be cooling down things are just beginning to heat up for MajorWho Media recording artist, Todd Alsup. Todd will kick off a very busy fall with Sirius Satellite Radio. Todd has also been invited back by popular demand for another scheduled interview/musical performance on Sirius Satellite Radio’s OutQ in the Morning w/Larry Flick. Please tune in on September 5th at 10 AM/EST, on channel 109.

As if that weren’t enough, Todd will also be giving a free show at downtown NYC’s, Rockwood Music Hall on Saturday, September 6th, at 8:00 p.m. Todd will be performing songs from his critically acclaimed EP Facts & Figures which is available now on iTunes.

Finally, Todd is preparing to take part in the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) conferences throughout the U.S. NACA is the nation's largest collegiate organization for campus activities and Todd has been chosen for a highly coveted showcase slot at the Northeast conference from November 6th-9th in Hartford, CT.

Blessed with vocals that rise up from the center of his soul with conviction and warmth, Todd is striking a chord with listeners and critics alike. Fusing old-school soul and piano-man sensibilities with current rock and pop, Todd’s songs are honest and bursting with groove, personality, and universal themes.

2008 is proving to be an outstanding year for Todd as he garners highly favorable reviews from music industry bibles such as Performing Songwriter, features on New York’s Q104.3, and rotation on Sirius Satellite Radio’s OutQ. With such a productive fall ahead of him Todd is on his way to winning “The Good Fight.”

What the critics are saying:

“The combination of giddy piano-pop, old-school soul and free-spirited songs finds Alsup treading an earnest if unlikely divide between Ben Folds and John Legend. However, he’s too talented to be gauged by comparisons, as “Facts & Figures” makes abundantly clear.” –Performing Songwriter (June 2008)

“The best pop/R&B hybrid I’ve heard in more than a year! Extremely competent playing and ear-bending hooks that will control you for days.” –Stereo Subversion (January 2008)
